We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to train as an accounting technician.

Summary
This role will be the apprenticeship route, which entails four days on the job training within our office alongside one day of study at South West College to obtain the Accounting Technicians Ireland qualification. We are looking for those wishing to commence this course in September 2026 with employment available immediately.
Job Description
The Trainee Accounting Technician will support the accounts team with day-to-day accounting and administrative duties while developing practical accounting skills and working towards a relevant accounting qualification. The role provides an opportunity to gain experience across areas such as accounts and VAT preparation, reconciliations, PAYE, and financial reporting. You will develop communication skills through regular interaction with colleagues and clients, responding to queries professionally, participating in team discussions, and building confidence in clear and effective communication.
Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong A – Levels with a minimum grade B in GCSE Maths and English.
- Be willing to undertake training in order to become a fully qualified Accounting Technician.
- Have a keen interest in accountancy and taxation.
- Have good IT skills.
