Fermanagh Herald Business Awards 2012

The first ever Business Awards in Fermanagh were held in the Manor House Country Hotel, Killadeas, on 26 October 2012, organised by the Fermanagh Herald in association with Fermanagh District Council. Abac’s Julian McKeown was there and met MLA Arlene Foster, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Investment in Northern Ireland, and Maurice Kettyle of Kettyle Irish Foods Ltd, Lisnaskea. Maurice was awarded Business Person of the Year 2012 for Kettyle Irish Foods having established itself as one of the most highly respected quality agrifood companies in Ireland, bringing the best of local to clients throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Well done, Maurice!

 

Other award winners were Kilmore Quay Resort for the Best Tourism Initiative Award; Greentown Environmental for the Growth Through Export Award; Natures Inspiration for the Excellence in Business Practice Award; Swift’s Supervalu, Lisnaskea for the Retailer of the Year Award; Me Unlimited for the Social Enterprise Award; CD Consulting for the Best Start Up Award and Lakeland Tyres for the Excellence in Customer Services Award (pictured receiving the award from sponsor Declan Devlin of o2, Belmore Street, Enniskillen).
